About this policy

This policy explains how ADADA Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 34 635 932 571) ("ADADA Digital", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through adada.com.au. We manage personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, or that your browser sends when you visit:

• Contact form: first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, subject and your message.
• Quick quote form: name, phone number, email address and your message.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
• Website usage data: pages visited, approximate location (city or country level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, collected through Google Analytics using cookies.

Please don't include sensitive information (such as health or financial details) in your message. You can contact us without identifying yourself by calling, although we will need some contact details to respond to a project enquiry.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry or quote request and discuss your project.
• To provide services you engage us for.
• To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every newsletter lets you unsubscribe.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To protect our forms from spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Service providers we use

We use the following third-party services to run the website. They process information on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

• EmailJS delivers form submissions to our inbox. EmailJS privacy policy
• Google reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from a person, not an automated program. Google privacy policy
• Google Analytics measures website usage. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Disclosure outside Australia

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Members of our development team are located in Sri Lanka and may access enquiry details in order to respond to you or deliver your project. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the APPs.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA use cookies and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the forms may ask you to complete an extra reCAPTCHA check.

Storage and security

Enquiries are stored in our business email accounts, which are password protected and limited to staff who need them. We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond, deliver services and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete them. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, but the site uses HTTPS encryption.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
